Tonight the 2004 Red Sox made my father cry.

I watched the game at our local pub. Over the years I have apparently earned the reputation as "that angry baseball girl", and was surrounded by people who had lived through the the many tears I have shed for the game. I did not recognize half of the people who assured me "I was doing much better than they expected." Tim did not appear until after the seventh inning stretch, but he was there when Destiny was fufilled.

The Red Sox are the world champions for the first time in eighty six years. It's real.

I still can't believe it, Suzie. They did it! They did it! They made me cry too. Unreal.

Inspiration I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.
