Wednesday is girl night here. Tim's off being a rockstar, so after a sensible baby dinner Josie and I hunkered down to share my dinner of avocados and ice cream (not at the same time of course.) The time we spend as a trio is precious, but I must admit I love these few hours we get with just the two of us sharing a snack. Or singing. Or dancing around the house. It's just a small part of my week, but it's the happiest. And it's enough.

mother-daughter time is THE coolest, even when they're eighteen :)
right now, most of our bonding time is spent in the car... "mom? do you need to go to the grocery store? or petsmart? or the drug store? let's go out to eat! does the car need gas? i'm out of spaghetti-o's! how about sephora or the book store? i need batteries for my laser pointer so i can drive the dog nuts..."
SOMEbody has her driver's permit :)
