Life goes on about the same here, with work and home and my family, but there is one difference and that it is finally spring, glorious spring. When I lived in Arizona I missed season changes and grass and the ability to grow tomatoes, but mostly I missed the rebirth and promise of April. I’ve been spending most of free time touching dirt and pointing at the area of earth that I want moved. Tim’s hands are covered with blisters, Josie is perma-covered in sunscreen and floppy hats, and I am too happily content to find the time to update.

Work is somewhat better, now that flu season is finally over. Josie grows chubbier and goofier every day and is such a joy that I have come to realize something that I never, ever in a million years thought I would hear myself say.

I think I want another baby.

I love that picture of her!

And really? Another baby? I think I want you to have another one too, just because you make such awesomely cute babies.

As cute as Josie is that might just be a very good idea!

As an only kid, I would be tempted to say there are good points to your idea. Nancy's always thought the idea of twins -- get it over with the first time once and for all -- was a good idea.

You might still be able to manage that, as it appears a tabletop time machine just might be possible...and there's something weird about this.

She is just adorable. I don't quite want another baby just yet (my daughter is just 4 weeks old, and definitely not blessed with your daughter's sweet demeanor!) but I know I want another one soon.

Another baby?? No no no! We couldn't bear that much cuteness all on one blog!

Also, you might want to check out this blog entry by a friend of mine called "The Truth from a Five Year Old." It's a classic!

Another baby? You are sick. Them things ain't nothin' but trouble. Just look at the one you posted a picture of!! Pure evil. Can't you see it? *shudder*

You are excused from updating the blog, due to spring fever and general euphoria. Just make sure you send a note every once in a while to let us know it's happiness that's keeping you away, rather than anything bad. :)

I'm glad it's too much happy that's keeping you away. I'm no doctor, but I believe dirt and sunshine are good for what ails ya, especially here in the land of little sun.
I've noticed that Josie wears a lot of very adorable and brightly colored dresses, which I find amusing considering her mother is known to wear only black and beige.
Also, judging by that picture, she has nibbly toes!

Inspiration I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.
