I sure needed these last two days off. We were able to see friends and family, and most importantly, sleep. Ah, sweet sleep, how I love you.

I talk about my niece here quite a bit. She’s a truly great kid- smart, funny, polite, goofy and beautiful. I’m obviously not the only person who thinks she’s great, because she was the only student in her school selected to attend the 50th annual People to People World Leadership Forum in 2007. Unfortunately, the cost of registration, room and board is more than my sister can afford. Our whole family is donating what we can and if anyone else was looking for some good karma, you could donate a buck or two here. I’m also going to be knitting some things for sale, so if you wanted to pick up a hand knitted present you can keep an eye on my Etsy shop. All profits will go straight to Emily. (If anyone wanted to donate handknit items to the site, those would certainly be appreciated as well.) Anyone who wants to snag the button is welcome, and any donation would make a little girl very, very happy. She’s a great little person, and she really deserves this. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out.

Is there a way we can mail in a donation?
