There are three clear reasons to love this picture.

1) My poor, poor Yinzer baby. There are forbears of mine rolling in their New England graves as you read this, because the child is a Steelers fan. Ah well, its only football. It’s not like she’s abandoned the Red Sox or anything crazy like that.

2) Josie has just learned to wave, but instead of the typical hand-folding infant wave she insists on performing this stiff wrist-ed Miss America version. It does not bode well.

3) The. Hair. That baby just has flat out great hair. Her hair is so great that I don't worry as much abou the whole diva hand waving thing.

Is this kid ever not smiling with pure glee? (If you say yes, I refuse to believe you so I don't know why I'm bothering to ask.)

Inspiration I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.
