purely hypothetical question

Don’t tell, because I am terrified of the outright ridiculousness of thinking such a thing, but deep deep down I long to have a picture in the Knitty calendar. If you have a second, would you mind giving me an opinion on which picture of Josie you would send in, if you were to send in a picture. Which of course I’m not. But if I were, (which I'm not) I’d appreciate the input.

I love both of the front views, but I LOVE your mom dresses you funny. I feel that one really shows the pattern more too.

Long time reader, never voiced any comment since the birth of the adorable Josie-bear...but I HAD to comment on this one.

If you WERE to mail in a photo (not that you would have ANY reason to do that...do you even know how to knit??:) ) I would send in the first photo posted. (The photo that the bear is grinning and giggling in - http://www.flickr.com/photos/wordsforsnow/177381959/in/photostream/ ) That photo not only captures the beautiful halter you were able to knit {Ha, see, I do pay attention sometimes} and how well it goes with khaki's...but also shows how much the bear loves modeling for that calendar!

Just my penny of thoughts. Keep us posted on which one you send in and how it does, ok?

This one is by far the best one, imo. Your baby is the. most. adorable. smileymonster. on the face of the Earth. I hope do actually send this into Knitty (I'm also a Knitty faithful from the Pgh. area) and get first prize. You and Josie deserve it!

Not that you would ever send in a picture for the Knitty calendar, heaven forfend, but if I were to hypothetically send in a shot of your ridiculously, hilariously adorable J-Bear, this is the one I would choose: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wordsforsnow/177381964/in/photostream/. Hypothetically.

I love the one of her looking down on the blanket, though they are *all* really adorable.

I cast my vote on Flickr, but I have to admit I'm sweating my photo plans now! How can I compete against that?! (I plan to photograph Claire in Baby Norgi before gifting it, which somehow seems wrong but I'm doing it anyway)
That's one photogenic kid you've got there.

Inspiration I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.
