Josie was introduced to polka this weekend and loved it. It's seriously time for us to consider moving out of western Pennsylvania. She’s only a year or two from acid washed jeans and a mullet.

Reminds me of the pilgrims having to move out of the Netherlands when their children started speaking Dutch. We had the same thought when our kids started breaking apart their vowels, "Dae-ad" for "Dad," and so on. It's too late for us now. Probably too late for you, too. As St. Ignatius Loyola said, "Give me the child until she's six, and she'll want to hear an accordian for the rest of her life."

Or something like that.

Inspiration I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.
