Josie (and Tim) come to visit me on Tuesday when I’m at the office for twelve hours. It wasn’t a surprise to see her, but the cupcakes and presents that the girls at my office had brought in for her were. Her "aunts" are much better at organizing and keeping secrets than I am, and I’d be upset about this but I’m just happy the baby got at least one cupcake out of this whole birthday debacle.

Not only was I overwhelmed by the sweetness of the gesture, but also having a large group of people singing at Josie was rather reassuring. I was concerned that she’d be overwhelmed and frightened, but the big hambone ate it up. She clapped right along with the singing. At least I don’t have to worry about that anymore for her party. Now I can put more energy into worrying about the cupcakes and food and plan.

OMG! I know it's gone by so fast.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSIE! It's so much fun to watch you grow up.

My Claire-bear just turned 11 months on the weekend and last week started walking everywhere. It completely freaks me out to see her toddling about. Guess I shouldn't have blinked.

I think I mentioned to you in a reply to you on another of your entries, to just let her put her face in cake for her birthday. Looks like that worked out just fine. What a sweetheart!

Well darn ~ thought I had mentioned the face in cake thing on your "Panic" entry. Guess I said it out loud to myself in thinking that would be the thing to do. God Bless you both!

Inspiration I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.
